Founded in 1945, the organization cares for approximately 3,000 dogs and cats each year, providing them with the care, love, and support they need to find their forever homes. With a focus on saving animals from local euthanasia lists and transporting pets across the country, Gulf Coast Humane Society is committed to giving animals a second chance. Their Education and Outreach Program promotes responsible pet parenting and the humane treatment of all animals, ensuring the well-being of pets and the community. As the organization continues to grow, they strive to be a safety net for the community, working to keep pets healthy, happy, and in their homes, where they truly belong.
