Canine Soulmates Rescue is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization based in the Grapevine-Keller-Southlake area of Texas, dedicated to saving and rehoming abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs. With a passionate network of volunteers spanning the DFW metroplex, Canine Soulmates provides foster-based care for dogs in need, ensuring they receive essential veterinary treatment and a loving temporary home while searching for their perfect forever families. Specializing in rescuing stray and shelter dogs with nowhere else to turn, Canine Soulmates also offers guidance to individuals looking to rehome their pets, providing resources and support when possible. This all-breed rescue group is committed to matching each dog with a family in the DFW area who will care for them for a lifetime, ensuring a brighter future for every dog they save.
The
Issues
When Canine Soulmates Rescue approached us, their online presence was nearly nonexistent. They had a small, outdated website that offered no functionality for adoption or foster applications, making it difficult for supporters to engage with their mission. Their branding was inconsistent, with a blurry logo and no cohesive identity to represent their organization professionally. Additionally, they had no access to their company emails, making communication with fosters, adopters, and the community a challenge.
They also lacked automation tools to streamline interactions with fosters and adopters, which created inefficiencies in their operations. Adding to the challenges, their system for showcasing adoptable pets relied on an external third-party platform that wasn’t even integrated directly with their site, limiting their control and effectiveness. It was clear that Canine Soulmates needed a complete overhaul to align their digital presence and operational tools with their mission and goals.

We began by redesigning their website, creating a polished, user-friendly platform that reflects their mission and fosters community engagement. Their existing logo was cleaned up and refined, establishing a cohesive and professional brand identity.
We implemented an entirely new internal system, replacing outdated processes with custom solutions. This included rebuilding their foster, adoption, and volunteer applications with advanced functionality, such as conditional logic, making the process seamless and efficient. To streamline communications, we secured a new domain and set up Google Admin Console for professional email management.
One of the most impactful changes was creating a secure online donation platform from scratch. By bypassing third-party systems and fees, donations now go directly into their account, enabling them to keep more of the funds they raise. This platform includes recurring donation options, leading to a significant increase in contributions and long-term support.
These enhancements have empowered Canine Soulmates Rescue to operate more efficiently, communicate more effectively, and connect with their community like never before. We’re proud to have played a role in helping them save more dogs and grow their mission.
